Mānawatia a Matariki. We hope you have been able to enjoy the term break and Matariki period with your loved ones. We look forward to welcoming our ākonga back for Term 3 on Monday July 17th.

Please be advised that construction work is being undertaken on the Edgewater Drive pedestrian crossing between the college and the retirement village. This is expected to continue for the next two weeks. Traffic is currently reduced to one lane and is likely to cause significant delays at drop off and pick up time. Where possible we would recommend meeting students at the back gymnasium gate and exiting out of the Ti Rakau Bridge end Edgewater Drive. Please advise students who walk to school to cross the street with caution and to follow any instructions from the road construction team.

We would also like to update you that the PPTA and government are currently in an arbitration phase which is expected to last about six weeks. During this time there will be no further PPTA strike actions. We thank our community again for your support during this industrial action and hope a positive resolution is reached.
