Happy Traffic Lights day – I hope you all have a nice Friday and weekend ahead as we move into the new Covid Protection Framework / Traffic Lights system. As mentioned previously as a school we remain at the same settings for Alert Level 3 / Stage 2 for the remainder of the school year. This means students onsite must continue to meet all of our Health and Safety Expectations, including mask use at all times, unless you are outside eating and drinking and are physically distanced from others.
Junior prizegiving events
As with our senior prizegiving we will be holding our junior prizegiving's on Wednesday (Year 9) and Thursday (Year 10) this week. Sadly, parents and family are unable to attend but we will put a link of the celebrations on the school portal following this event so you can see the proceedings. We will also do our best to take photos and share those with students and families.
Junior Engagement Reports
These will also be sent out next week. They will include a snapshot of how well our junior students have managed to engage in their learning over the past term. Please know that regardless of where you are at we are looking forward to welcoming all students back onsite next year ready for an exciting year of learning.
Thank you again to all those students who have returned school devices. Any remaining devices MUST be returned to the school office next week. This is very important so we can update them over the Christmas break and have them ready to hand out again next term. Junior students can also collect hard packs of a great range of learning materials from the office as well. Please ensure you are wearing a mask and follow all instructions of our office staff.
Enjoy your weekend under our new ‘red light’ settings – I am finally getting to play squash again so I’m pretty excited about that.
